


Founded in 1994, came up with the idea of promoting economic and industrial development through the BIC, providing expertise on the creation of new Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) based on innovative elements with development potential.
From this goal, ANCES is presented as the framework for its 28 members to provide the systems, services and activities that contribute to the achievement of its objectives with maximum efficiency and professionalism, and driving through the support and dissemination of BICs , innovation and diversification of productive activities, technological progress and economic development.
What is ANCES?
ANCES or National Association of European Business and Innovation is an entity with legal personality and non-profit, whose operation is governed by the Law on Associations (Law 1 / 2002 of March 22).
It consists of 28 members spread throughout the Spanish territory and its activity is the institutional representation and the establishment of a cooperative for its members.
Its main projects include:
Innovative Technology-Based Companies (EIBTs) aimed at supporting the creation and subsequent consolidation of innovative technology-based (EIBTs), through the BIC, and spread the concept of EIBTs in the whole of Spain.
BioANCES - BioANCES acts, in collaboration with Genome Spain, these projects aim to develop a program of actions to support the creation of new business initiatives in the biotechnology sector, making a special effort in outreach activities, dissemination and training essential to the consolidation of an emerging business sector.
Also, ANCES collaborates with a large number of organizations, both public and private, thus fulfilling the mission of the association to represent its members and defend their interests together. Maintains contacts mainly with the following entities:

Besides working with various universities transfer offices of Research Results (OTRIs, etc.).
Currently, Mr. D. Alvaro Simon de Blas, president of BIC Euronova, holds the presidency of ANCES since April 27, 2009, so the association is located in Malaga (BIC Euronova).
