The President of EBN participates in the Coparmex Innovation Forum of Mexico.

Álvaro Simón, President of the European Business and Innovation Centres Network (EBN) has taken part in the first forum about scientific and technological forum FORUM INNOVACIÓN COPARMEX, which was held in Mexico, the 13th and 14th of November.
Scientifics, businessmen, institutions, universities and representatives expert on innovation have met during five days in this international event, organised by the Mexican Employer's Confederation (Coparmex). The aim of the event was to turn Mexico into a leading economy based on science, technology and innovation.
Álvaro Simón, who is also President of ANCES (National Association of Spanish BICs) and chairman of BIC Euronova (BIC of Malaga), participated last 14th of November in the talk "Internationalize and innovate, from the speech to the action". He presented the European BIC Network (EBN) and invited the expert agents on innovation in Mexico to establish collaboration and cooperation relations with EBN and ANCES (National Association of Spanish BICs.
Moreover, Crowdsourcing and Crowfunding, Knowledge Infrastructure, creating the future of Mexico, Innovation in the age of Platforms, How to go from the innovative idea to an established business or How to innovate being based on Nature have been some of the topics of the Forum. The University of Puebla, the International Association of Science Parks, the International Mexican Agency of International Cooperation for Development, European Business and Innovation Centre Network EBN, 3M, Telmex, SICE and Red Horigen, among many others, went to this event carried out by the Comisión de Investigación, Innovación y Desarrollo Tecnológico of Coparmex (Commission for investigation, innovation and development) and the Secretary of Economy as a business space.
In addition, the first occasion of the Premio de Innovación Coparmex (Coparmex Innovation Award) has been presented and it has recognised the best speakers of technological development and innovation in Mexico.
