The Rector of the University of Staffordshire offers a reception to the Director of CEEI of Malaga BIC Euronova.

Michael Gunn, Rector of the University of Staffordshire (England) has offered this last week a reception to Alvaro Simon de Blas, because of his stay as researcher in the aforementioned English University.
Institutional representatives and some authorities, including the responsible of the Energy of the Staffordshire City Council, along with the professors of the Economics Faculty of the previously mentioned English county.
The Director of the CEEI of Malaga BIC Euronova and President of the European Network EBN, Alvaro Simon, is making a research study about the models of incubation in Europe during his one-month-stay in the centenary University of Staffordshire in Stoke on Trent. The aim of this study is to analyze the results obtained by the entrepreneurs and or enterprises assisting by the European BICs (Business and Innovation Center), in order to strengthen the exchange of good practices and knowledge transferences in the innovation areas and enterprises creation.
EBN is the European Network of BICs (European Business and Innovation Centers Network), European association created in 1984 as an initiative of the European Commission that groups more than 250 European Centers of Enterprises and Innovation (CEEI) and similar organizations like incubators, innovation centers and business centers around Europe. Nowadays, EBN is chaired by Alvaro Simon, general director of the CEEI of Malaga BIC Euronova, European Center of Enterprises and Innovation of Malaga that belongs to EBN from its beginning.
The CEEIs (European Centers of Enterprises and Innovation) or BICs (Business and Innovation Centre) are bodies that promote the innovation and the business spirit, driving the creation of new enterprises and thereby contributing to the economic development and industrial. The EBN network is an umbrella organization that provides help and support to all the CEEIs/BICs of Europe, by acting as an interface with other organizations as the European Commission, sharing its experience as well as fomenting the exchange of good practices.
