The Malaga's European Business and Innovation Centre (CEEI) BIC Euronova, celebrated the last 8th February a new edition of the Technological Breakfasts, in this occasion with David Plaza, CEO of Animun Creativity Advanced School, a company from Malaga which was originally created in BIC Euronova in the year 2003.
After the welcome from Álvaro Simón, the general director of BIC Euronova, David Plaza made a small review about his track record from his beginnings in the Malaga's CEEI. By this way, he contributed with valuable tips at the enterprise level and emphasised in the idea that “business is about creating value and charging it well”.
David Plaza, who is an industrial engineer and has a MBA (Master in Business Administration) from San Telmo International Institute, has run three business since 2003, when he started working in BIC Euronova. Two of those business that he run were related to the international audiovisual production, where we can find great relevance professional’ studios such as Pixar, Blue Sky, Disney, Framestore, Ubisoft, among others.
The CEO of Animun Creativity Advanced School, a postgraduate education company specialised in the industry of digital contents and digital art, which train over 400 students every year in Spain, and over 12 countries, emphasised the importance of “never lowering prices of the products or services and always opting for adding value to them”. From this idea, we can see his high involvement in the design and development of new products, being his main objective to ensure a high burden of added value as the principal competitive edge. Furthermore, as the key to success, he pointed out the necessity of “surrounding ourselves with professionals who are better that us”.
Finally and in a friendly atmosphere, there was a question and answer session that made easier the networking among the assistants.
