A total of 26 companies in Malaga implemented quality management systems and environment through CACSI

A total of 26 companies of the region of Malaga Antequera Axarquia Guadalhorce Valley and have implemented quality systems management and environmental quality through the Support Center for Quality and Safety (CACSI) Malaga.
Firms that have received certification from the hands of the Provincial Delegate of Economy, Innovation and Science Government of Andalusia, Pilar Serrano, belong to different industrial sectors ranging from the field of chemical manufacturing, installation of air conditioning, telecommunications, to the food industry or electro mechanics.
Serrano, who was accompanied by the director general and head of Bic Euronova in Malaga from CACSI, Alvaro Simon, explained that the delivery of these quality certification demonstrates that the business is aware that Malaga innovation and modernization are essential to remain with the best warranties in the market. This award should serve to enhance and add value to the products of companies that receive them.
During his speech, the delegate pointed out the need to implement quality systems that contribute to industrial development companies as the way to Malaga excellence. Meanwhile, Alvaro Simon said they are very satisfied with the results obtained in this second edition of CACSI project, which has continued to work with industry sectors and geographical areas of the province outside the PTA environment, "adding value and helps for continuous improvement of organizations, improving their competitive position and image, and encouraging them to continue on the path to business excellence. "
CACSI Project
In August 2007, BIC Euronova, the European Business and Innovation of Malaga, has signed a collaboration agreement with the Ministry of Economy, Innovation, and Science, the creation of the Support Center for Quality and Safety, Environment Environment and ID i Malaga. This agreement was renewed in 2009 for the consolidation of the center, expanding its scope.
The main objectives of this project are to promote the implementation and certification of management systems for quality, environment and ID i in industrial SMEs located in the Guadalhorce Valley, in the region of Antequera, and the Axarquia, promoting implementation in the area of systems security management and compliance with industrial safety regulations, disseminate the main concepts related to quality, environment and ID i, and information on industrial safety.
During this period the Centre has approached more than 280 companies and has carried out the implementation of management systems 68 to 53 companies (9 companies ISO 14001, ISO 9001 20 companies and 24 companies with an integrated quality and environmental ). She has also served maintenance management systems to other 65 companies Malaga.
Moreover, throughout the two editions of the project, 11 courses have been given specific quality, safety and environment, with the assistance of more than 180 students. In addition, 36 meetings have been held with the companies grouped and technicians CACSI. Similarly, there have been industrial safety diagnostics 20 companies, consisting of a visit and making a report with conclusions and recommendations for compliance, and maintenance in this regard to 40 other companies.
