In-person coordination to promote the RECONNECT Info Day
On Friday, 12 December, representatives from BIC Euronova and CMMA met at the CMMA offices in the Green Ray building (Málaga) to coordinate the organisation of the next RECONNECT project Info Day.
Participants from both organisations addressed key aspects related to event planning, identified potential organisational synergies, and coordinated actions to ensure strong participation from relevant stakeholders within the Andalusian blue economy ecosystem.
During the meeting, both teams shared updates on the progress being made at regional level in Spain within the framework of the RECONNECT project. This included ongoing work with SMEs, sectoral organisations and other key actors in the fisheries and aquaculture sectors.
In addition, possible synergies were explored to position the Info Day within a broader strategy aimed at revitalising the regional ecosystem and promoting the circular economy and industrial symbiosis in the blue economy.
Beyond technical and organisational matters, the meeting also served to further strengthen the working relationship between the BIC Euronova and CMMA teams, who collaborate on an ongoing basis within the project, mainly through digital environments.
Next RECONNECT Info Day in Andalusia
The Info Day will take place on Wednesday, 25 March, from 12:30 to 15:30, at La Térmica (Málaga), as part of the WIN-BIG Atlantic Event.
The event will present the RECONNECT project, its objectives and the opportunities it offers to SMEs, organisations and stakeholders from the fisheries, aquaculture and blue biotechnology sectors. It will also encourage active participation in the project’s forthcoming pilot actions.
