BIC Euronova, the European Business and Innovation Centre in Malaga, in collaboration with the National Cybersecurity Institute (INCIBE), an entity under the Ministry for Digital Transformation and the Civil Service through the State Secretariat for Telecommunications and Digital Infrastructures, has launched the third edition of the Cybersecurity Ventures acceleration programme. This new call follows the success of the two previous editions held at BIC Euronova and aims to support start-ups and innovative SMEs linked to the field of cybersecurity.
The initiative seeks to promote the creation of new companies through a structured acceleration programme, enhance their innovative capacity and contribute to strengthening cybersecurity across Spain’s business ecosystem and society.
Participating companies have a link to cybersecurity: either because it is their core business-developing innovative products or services in the field-or because it is key to their activity (e.g. online sales). They must apply cybersecurity to secure digital environments for their customers.
Eligible companies must have a clear link to cybersecurity, either because it is their core business—developing innovative products or services in the field—or because it is a key element of their activity, such as online sales. In all cases, participating companies are required to apply cybersecurity solutions to ensure secure digital environments for their customers.
This programme forms part of the INCIBE Emprende initiative, within the framework of the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan, and is funded by NextGenerationEU funds.
As a collaborating organisation, BIC Euronova will deliver acceleration programmes, talks, workshops, events and incubation services to the participating companies. This joint effort will enable participants to build a solid foundation in cybersecurity knowledge, which is essential for operating safely and competitively in today’s digital environment.
