BIC Euronova celebrates its twentieth anniversary under the slogan "20 years supporting innovation"

The European Business and Innovation Centre of Malaga, BIC Euronova, celebrates its twentieth anniversary with the companies that were born or have been consolidated in the center over this period.

The European Business and Innovation Centre of Malaga, BIC Euronova, celebrates its twentieth anniversary with the companies that were born or have been consolidated in the center over this period.

Over a hundred of innovative Málaga gathered on Friday October 14 at the centre of Tourism and Sports Andaluz in the celebration of the twentieth anniversary of the establishment of BIC Euronova, which was chaired by Ms. Pilar Serrano Boiga , president of BIC Euronova, accompanied by D. Joseph Estrada Fernandez, vice president of BIC Euronova, the director of Participate companies in Unicaja, D. Francisco Villalba, and the general manager of BIC Euronova, D. Álvaro Simón de Blas.

BIC Euronova, founded in October 1991 by the IDEA Agency, Promálaga, and Unicaja with the co-financing from the European Commission, has a remarkable track record backed by more than 300 innovative companies that have passed through its center during these twenty years, activity that was reflected in a memorial video shown during the event.

Under the slogan "20 years supporting innovation," BIC Euronova used this special occasion to distinguish 20 companies from Málaga for their careers as innovative companies. All these companies were born or have been consolidated in BIC Euronova over the years, among which are NOVASOFT, AERTEC, Ingenia, Grupo ACT, Genetaq, Microambiental, King’s Buffet, Procedimientos UNO, Ecugestión SUR, INGHO, HISPASEC Sistemas, NETBLUE Ingenieros, LYNKA, Grupo Arelance, TD Entrenamiento y Salud, CITIC, Bioazul, EDP Ingeniería, Libera Network y Genosa.

Also during the ceremony, D. Mencia Francisco Morales, first president of BIC Euronoa, the director of the Technological Park of Andalusia, D. Felipe Romera Lubias and the President of ASIT, D. Jose Perez Palmis, were distinguished for their involvement and commitment to the CEEI of Malaga.

Finally, before the family photo and the following cocktail, the event featured the testimony of three entrepreneurs who have exhibited their significant first-person experiences in BIC, D. Francisco Barrionuevo, President of NOVASOFT, D. Antonio Gómez-Guillamón, General Manager of AERTEC and Ms Ingrid Mateo Manrique, general manager of Microambiental.
