Álvaro Simón participates in the NBIA's 27th International Conference on Business Incubation in Boston.

More than 500 managers of incubators and economic development professionals over the world met from the 7th to 9th of April in the 27th NBIA's International Conference on Business Incubation held in Boston in order to find useful support strategies for entrepreneurs.

More than 500 managers of incubators and economic development professionals over the world met from 7th to 9th of April in the 27th NBIA's International Conference on Business Incubation held in Boston in order to find support strategies for entrepreneurs. This conference is the more important event of the industry to build relations and get tools which could be useful for entrepreneurs.

Álvaro Simón, chairman of BIC Euronova, the BIC of Malaga, and President of ANCES (National Association of Spanish BICS), took part in the session "Public Policy and Business Incubation", as President of the European Business and Innovation Centre Network (EBN) .

The event had many activities:

-Educational sessions in which the new managers learnt the basic essentials of incubation. Moreover, the managers with experience were able to know the most novel techniques.

- Successful cases were showed. The most successful managers showed their experiences and described the steps they followed to overcome difficulties.

- Speeches. Desh Despande, businessman of Boston and investor who is co-chairman of the Barack Obama's National Advisory Council on Innovation and Entrepreneurship
- Visit to incubators. Because of the event, the attendees were able to visit some of the most successful incubators in Boston and get to know how they work and the techniques they use to do their work.

- Networking. Breakfasts and receptions were made in order to allow the attendees to get in touch with members of the NBIA and build relations amongst them.
