BIC Euronova launches a certification programme to facilitate to the small and medium-size enterprises to obtain the certification mark of Young Innovative Enterprise and Small Medium-size Innovative Enterprise.

The enterprises that pass the certification process will be included in the Small and Medium-size Innovative Enterprises Registry of the Ministry of Economy and Competitiveness, and will have direct access to different economic and fiscal advantages.

The European Business Innovation Centre (BIC) of Málaga, BIC Euronova, through the National Association, has launched a certification programme to facilitate to the Small and Medium-Size Enterprises(SMEs) the process to obtain certification marks of Innovative SMEs and Young Innovative Enterprise, which will allow them to demonstrate their innovative capacity.

The enterprises that pass the certification process will be included in the Small and Medium-size Innovative Enterprises Registry of the Ministry of Economy and Competitiveness, and will have direct access to different economic and fiscal advantages.

Among these advantages, the certified enterprises will have the right, immediately, to apply for the compatibility of the bonus of investigation staff (bonus of 40% in corporate contributions to the Social Security contributions) with the tax deduction of expenditure of Investigation, development and Innovation (I+D+I) of the corporate income tax (up to 42%)

Furthermore, they are being developed others extra benefits for the certified enterprises relating to the innovative public purchasing and other public purchasing.

The BIC of Málaga, BIC Euronova will provide the formation process and creation of Business Plan for the interested enterprises, following the indications of the regulations developed for the implementation of both certification marks. To participate, the enterprises interested must contact with BIC Euronova, which will provide necessary information to start the project.

The requirements for the certification are contained in two different technical specifications: technical specification "AENOR EA 0043" of Young Innovative Enterprise and technical specification "AENOR EA 0047" of Small and Medium-size Innovative Enterprise.
