BIC Mentoring, pilot project to mentor young businesses implemented by BIC Euronova

BIC Mentoring is a pilot initiative implemented by the BIC of Málaga, BIC Euronova, to make easier and to coordinate the mentoring for young innovative businesses with the help of an exclusive group of executives with a wide experience in business management.

BIC Mentoring is a pilot initiative implemented by the BIC of Málaga, BIC Euronova, to make easier and to coordinate the mentoring for young innovative businesses with the help of an exclusive group of executives with a wide experience in business management.

BIC Mentoring has started with a pilot program which consist of mentoring two incubated companies in BIC Euronova, 3DZings e IDINTEL, during a six month period by an specific mentoring group of three executives each. These executives, most of them belong to companies of the Parque Tecnológo de Andalucía (Technology Park of Andalucía), have decided to collaborate with this initiative in an altruistic act. Amongst the named companies, stand out Ingenia (José Blanco), HRCS Consulting (Miguel Ángel Romero), Jazztel (Manuel Hernández), ESIC (Gemma África Sánchez), Raytheon (Leandro Olalla), together with experts like Peter Hodgson.
The aim of BIC Euronova is to increase the number of business to offer them the monitoring service, cost-free, as a part of the support services in order to consolidate companies of BIC Euronova.

BIC Euronova counted in the design and implementation program with Juan Diego Salinas, Coaching Airlines manager who is consider an expert in the Business Coaching field and is a Certified Coach by the International Coaching Federation ICF, ASESCO and by CORAOPS.

The mentoring model is based on similar experiences implemented by other European Business and Innovation Centres belonging to the national network ANCES, specifically to the Barcelona Mentoring Program, initiated by Barcelona Activa in 2012, which is based itself on the Venture Mentoring Service(VMS) model of the MIT.
