Last 20th April the General Assembly of ANCES was held at the headquearters of the EOI (Industrial Organization School).
The Assembly of ANCES, Association chaired by Álvaro Simón de Blas, also CEO of Bic Euronova, had the collaboration of the responsibles of EOI on its openness, who were interested in the strengthening of the relationship between BICs and ANCES in different policy areas related to the innovative entrepreneurship.
During the Assembly, strategic issues for the future of ANCES were argued. In addition to the approval of accounts and the budget, the attending members discussed and provided important points, highlighting those that create value for the innovative companies. In this Assembly the foundations were laid to consolidate the Open Innovation service, which directs innovative projects with large companies.
The BICs opt for the value of this service not only for large corporations, but especially for second and third level companies that assume the importance of innovation as a key to their business growth and that can be found in start-ups in the field of BICs innovative solutions. Besides, and as discussed in this Assembly, “in this way we also promote the growth in our start-ups in a more sustainable way”.
The assistants also had the opportunity to know the progress in the ANCES INVESTMENT service, from which some innovative companies can access to private funding in different territorial areas, taking advantage of the presence of the members in different geographical locations and network at national level.
The Assembly reveal the continuous innovation vocation of ANCES. In this way, the new valuation tool for Innovative Technology-Based Companies (EIBT) was presented, which will generate a substantial value as a methodology for the concession of ANCES EIBT brand, giving it a greater degree of rigor. This tool was accepted with great enthusiasm not only by the assistants, but also by the members of the EIBT Jury.
The session also included the appointment of two new positions of the Boards of directors. On the one hand, Mr. Joaquín Gómez, CEO of BIC Murcia was appointed Vice president; on the other hand, Mr. David Montero joined as a new member of the Board of Directors. In this context, there were different references to the good work done by the former Vice president, Mr. Rafael Sancho, who has dismissed as CEO of BIC Talavera and, therefore, The Board of Directors of ANCES.
Once again this Assembly confirms the cohesion of a group of reference entities in innovative entrepreneurship at regional levels, which direct the results and impacts of their companies at national and even international level.
