BIC EURONOVA IMPARTS INTERNATIONAL TRAINING ABOUT TECHNOLOGY BASE INNOVATION IN THE AZORES ISLANDS, PORTUGAL
El Director General de BIC Euronova, Álvaro Simón de Blas, y el consultor de su equipo, Víctor Tienda, se han desplazado esta semana a las Islas Azores, concretamente a NONAGON Parque de Ciencia y Tecnología de San Miguel, con el objetivo de formar a su equipo en cuanto a Innovación de Base Tecnológica, siguiendo la marca EIBT (Empresa Innovadora de Base Tecnológica) concedida por la Asociación que agrupa a los BICs españoles (ANCES).

The San Miguel Science and Technology Park NONAGON receives information from BIC Euronova for the start-up of the EIBT mark (Innovative Technology-Based Company).
The General Director of BIC Euronova, Álvaro Simón de Blas, and the consultant of his team, Víctor Tienda, have been this week to the Azores Islands, specifically to NONAGON San Miguel Science and Technology Park with the aim of training his team in technology base innovation, following the EIBT mark (Innovative Technology-Based Company), given by the Association that brings together the Spanish BICs (ANCES).
This international training is framed in the conference “Technology base Innovation”, aimed at entrepreneurs, businesspeople, students and investors. Apart from that, this event is being celebrated in de city of Lagoa, organized by the San Miguel Science and Technology Park, counting with the experience of BIC Euronova and the Portuguese Business Innovation Centre Association.
Given that in the current economic scene it is observed that those countries and companies with the highest technology innovation capacity support better the economy changes and present clearly superior incomes, NONAGON has bet on BIC Euronova for its knowledge transmission referring to innovation, especially the technology base one, as a source to create richness and potentiate the economy in the Azores Islands.
For his part, the director of BIC Euronova has shown the EIBT mark (Innovative Technology-Based Company), granted by ANCES (National Association of Spanish CEEIS/BICs) which has awarded this certification to more than 375 business projects in Spain during its 15 years of existence The EIBT certification is supported by the experts participation and valuations from different institutions such as CDTI, IESE, ENISA, EOI.
Likewise, Víctor Tienda, consultant of BIC Euronova, has shown specific examples of Spanish companies that have gained the mark from the Innovative Technology-Based Company, EIBT.
