The president of the Technological Corporation of Andalusia (CTA), Adelaida de la Calle, visits BIC Euronova

Durante el encuentro, el Director General de BIC Euronova, Álvaro Simón de Blas y la ex consejera de Educación, Adelaida de la Calle, hicieron un repaso de su vinculación anterior dada la estrecha colaboración de BIC Euronova con la Universidad de Málaga, donde Adelaida fue Rectora.

The president of the Technological Corporation of Andalusia (CTA) Adelaida de la Calle, visited last 19th December the European Business and Innovation Centre of Malaga, BIC Euronova in order to get to know its activity and to study possible paths of collaboration.

During the meeting, the general director of BIC Euronova, Álvaro Simón de Blas and the ex-Counselor of Education, Adelaida de la Calle, made a review of their previous linkage, given the close collaboration between BIC Euronova and the University of Malaga, where Adelaida worked as a Rector.

Furthermore, Simón y De la Calle proposed posible paths of collaboration between BIC Euronova and the Technological Corporation of Andalusia (CTA), which was born more than eleven years ago with the impetus of the Regional Government of Andalusia for the purpose of promoting the regional R+D+I and to the technology transfer.

Since the CTA helps the companies to plan an innovation strategy from the recognition of its R+D+I necessities, the project design to solve them or the search of partners and the required funding to conduct them, it was considered as very factible the collaboration with BIC Euronova as pioneer center in Malaga with support to the creation and consolidation of the innovative companies. 

Lastly, the meeting was ended with a tour throughout the facilities of the European Business and Innovation Centre to get to know in a close way some examples of innovative companies set in the centre.
