The European Business and Innovation Centre of Málaga, BIC Euronova offers companies in the surrounding area the opportunity to obtain the EIBT brand, Innovative Technology-Based Company. 

ANCESand Ministry, 

The EIBT brand, granted by the National Association of Spanish CEEIs/BICs (ANCES) and supported by the Ministry of Industry, Trade and Tourism, was launched in 2001 as an aid to the creation and consolidation of Innovative Technology-Based Companies in Spain. 

Carrying this seal means that certified companies meet a series of business requirements and constitute a differentiating element, as well as communication. 

What value does the EIBT seal have? 

The value of the EIBT seal is materialized in the integration of the project and its promoters into a preferred group of access to various services through the channeling of projects in different support and accompanying programs: EIBT networking events with large companies, participation in open innovation forums, search and access to groups of investors, specialized training, and access to the innovative public procurement market. 

Likewise, companies that have been awarded the EIBT seal have full guarantees to demonstrate their potential as a first level innovative project to investors, granting institutions, and potential partners. 

Business Angels

The EIBT seal is valued as a differentitation endorsement for invewstors. It is also valued by institutions when considering access to specific aids for EIBTs.

Having the EIBT seal is also key when looking for partners, due to its potential as a first level innovative project. It also brings prestige and confidence in the private sector ande demonstrates a commitment to investment in I+D+i by the company. 

30 Málaga companies with the EIBT brand

30 Málaga companies have been recognized with the EIBT brand in the province of Málaga: Entersoftweb, Ihman, Naoset Sistemas, Netblue Ingenieros, Enercome, Arpa Solutions, Centro Mediterráneo de Fotobiología, Nerea, Aquaculture Solution Biotech, Probio, Ingelabs,  Brain Dynamics, Stockholm Precision Tools, Pesyr I+D, Agrolaboratorios Nutricionales, Torsa Clock, Melomics, DHV Technology, Eneso, Métrica6, Aganova, Next Generation Rail Technologies, Tupl, Aeorum,  Byevolution, I+Db Accoustic, eMarset, WeVoice, Predictive and Onversed. Of the 29 distinguished companies in Málaga, 9 are SPIN-OFF from the University of Málaga, demonstrating a close link between the University and the creation of companies in Málaga. In addition, 13 of these companies have been incubated at the European Business and Innovation Centre of Málaga, BIC Euronova.

Requirements
Companies interested in obtaining the EIBT brand must already be established. It is also required that they have started their activity and be part of a BIC/CEEII environment. Likewise, they must be promoted by individuals or SMEs. 

In addition, the company must have a high degree of innovation and operate in high-tech sectors, with above average investment in I+D+i and innovation.

Companies interested in obtaining the qualified certification should contact BIC Euronova to receive the forms to be completed in order to proceed with the corresponding registration.
