AIR-Andalusia is Andalusia’s European Digital Innovation Hub (EDIH). It specialises in artificial intelligence, robotics and advanced digital technologies. It is part of the European Digital Innovation Hubs (EDIH) Network and has been awarded the European Commission’s Seal of Excellence. BIC Euronova is a member of AIR-Andalusia.
AIR-Andalusia acts as a one-stop shop for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), mid-cap companies and public administrations. It supports digital transformation through technology testing and experimentation, skills development, ecosystem connection and support to access funding, with an applied and results-oriented approach.
The hub operates within the framework of the Digital Europe Programme, aligning its activities with European priorities in artificial intelligence, robotics and cross-cutting digital technologies.
Our mission: To provide SMEs, mid-cap companies and public sector organisations with access to advanced digitalisation services. These services focus on improving processes, products and services through the use of artificial intelligence, robotics, data and other digital technologies. AIR-Andalusia enables organisations to test and validate solutions before investing, reduce risks and accelerate adoption.
AIR-Andalusia brings together a consortium of leading entities from the Andalusian innovation ecosystem, including universities, research centres, technology centres, business associations, chambers of commerce, technology parks, European Business and Innovation Centres (BICs/CEEIs), technology clusters and companies.
The consortium combines academic, technological, industrial and business capabilities, ensuring regional coverage and the delivery of specialised, high-impact services in artificial intelligence, robotics and advanced digital technologies.
The AI Granada Research & Innovation Foundation acts as the coordinating entity of the consortium.
